Child Protection Administration Officer

Department of Families, Fairness & Housing

Frankston

Full-time, Onsite

This role involves reporting directly to Child Protection. You will serve as a point of contact for key stakeholders across a range of organisations, including government, private, public, and community services sectors. Success in this position depends on attention to detail and teamwork, alongside a demonstrated capacity for sensitive and effective communication, with confidentiality underpinning all work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of high-level correspondence.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Meeting preparation.
  • Minute taking.
  • Records and information management.
  • Financial administration.
  • Systems and process support.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Customer service.
  • Compliance and reporting.

Under general direction, you will provide assistance with office processes and corporate information systems, including records management, financial information, and client payments. You will also answer queries, offer timely advice, and undertake general follow-up actions as needed, including the correct redirection of incoming mail and queries. Support and assistance will be provided for the presentation of meetings and conferences, which includes coordinating papers, catering, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions, and making travel and accommodation arrangements.
