Evoke Maintenance Services (EMS) is expanding and seeking safety-focused civil leaders for our team. EMS has a 20-year history delivering civil, construction, maintenance, and engineering projects for tier-1 mining, rail, and infrastructure clients throughout Queensland.

About the Roles

We are looking for experienced Civil Project Managers and Site Supervisors to lead construction, civil, and maintenance works on mining and other industry projects. These are hands-on, safety-focused site leadership positions. Your specific title and responsibilities will be determined by your experience and capability.

Site Supervisors

• Lead a site crew and manage daily operations.
• Supervise crew to deliver works safely and on schedule.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities.
• Manage site documentation, quality, and pre-start meetings.
• Provide updates on site progress to clients and the project team.

Civil Project Managers

• Lead the delivery of major projects and oversee multiple sites managed by supervisors.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across projects.
• Lead and support site supervisors.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate subcontractors and internal teams.
• Drive safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all sites.

Locations & Rosters

• Work across the Bowen Basin and Callide Basin.
• Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) arrangements with a company vehicle provided.
• Ideally suited for candidates based in Mackay, Rockhampton, or surrounding regions.
• Rosters include 4/3, 8/6, or 7/7, aligned with site and project requirements.

What You Will Need

• Experience as a Civil Project Manager, Site Manager, or Site Supervisor in civil, construction, or mining.
• Strong safety leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Trade or civil qualification, or equivalent site experience.
• Construction Induction (White Card).
• Current QLD driver's licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to manage site documentation and reporting.

Highly Regarded

• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11. Applicants holding these will be prioritised for accelerated onboarding.
