About the Role In this position, you will be instrumental in providing leadership for all site activities, working closely and collaboratively with the Project Management team. Your responsibility will be to ensure projects are completed to a high standard, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the site team to ensure work is consistently performed to a high standard.
  • Cultivate a strong safety culture, making safety the primary focus.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure adherence to client and McMahon Services' processes.
  • Train, mentor, lead, and motivate staff on project sites.
  • Ensure the project meets time and resource management objectives.
  • Manage short-term planning to achieve project milestones.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in site management and project delivery within the construction sector.
  • Construction trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • A solid understanding of construction programs and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to obtain a defence clearance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Aconex, and MS Project.
  • A demonstrated history of advancing safety, quality, and productivity outcomes.
