Transform Formwork Contractors Group is looking for a motivated Construction Cadet to become part of our expanding team. This role offers a significant opportunity for individuals currently undertaking or who have recently finished studies in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related discipline. You will acquire practical experience in site operations, project coordination, estimating, purchasing, safety, quality assurance, and contract administration.
About the Role
As a Construction Cadet, you will collaborate with our project, site, estimating, purchasing, and management departments to aid in the successful execution of formwork and construction projects throughout NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project coordination and site administration.
- Provide support to site teams with daily documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Assist with managing drawings, specifications, Requests for Information (RFIs), and document control.
- Help with quantity take-offs, pricing, and tender submissions.
- Support purchasing, procurement, obtaining supplier pricing, and material ordering.
- Monitor material deliveries, stock needs, and purchase orders.
- Attend site visits and meetings as may be required.
- Assist with safety, quality, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Learn the complete construction lifecycle, from tender submission to project completion.
About You
- Currently studying or have recently completed a degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a similar field.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Exhibit good communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or construction-specific software is highly regarded.
- Hold a current driver's licence, which is preferred.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate an interest in developing a long-term career in construction.
