About the Role This is a consistent, ongoing full-time casual position offering a strong prospect of permanent employment within 6 to 12 months. Flexibility with shift variations is ideal. This opportunity extends beyond driving; we seek adaptable individuals prepared for hands-on labour and equipment operation off the truck.
Key Responsibilities As an HR Driver/Labourer, your duties will include:
- Collecting liquid waste using vacuum tankers.
- Transporting waste to approved treatment and recycling facilities.
- Performing drain and pit cleaning with vacuum extraction equipment.
- Conducting high-pressure water blasting within tanks, pits, and industrial assets.
- Assisting with industrial cleaning and site service projects.
- Ensuring work meets customer expectations.
- Completing daily pre-start checks, maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Adhering to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- HR truck license.
- Experience within the water industry, particularly in the construction and rehabilitation of water or sewer networks. Industrial experience is preferred.
- Commitment to work safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Confined space and Working at Heights qualifications are desirable.
