About St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Rosebery This is a distinct opportunity to join St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Rosebery as it expands to become a complete Kindergarten to Year 6 Catholic Primary School. Established in 2023 with an initial Kindergarten enrolment, the school fosters a vibrant and welcoming Catholic community where exceptional teaching and learning empower all to embody Christ's presence in the world. Future-focused learning environments encourage students to reach their potential, explore, be curious, take learning risks, develop empathy, and cultivate positive relationships. The school is situated within the Parish of Sydney City South, with St Joseph's Rosebery Church and St Joseph's Preschool and Long Day Care Centre located on-site. In 2026, St Joseph's will cater to Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3, with enrolments growing annually until the school is fully established from Kindergarten to Year 6 in 2029.
About You As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centred instruction within a Catholic educational setting. You will possess:
- Expertise in K-6 Curriculum development and the application of effective learning pedagogies.
- Strong classroom management skills and a focus on student well-being.
- The ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
- A tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to obtain them in accordance with the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
