Client Support & Reception Superstar
Positive Solutions is seeking a casual Client Support & Reception Superstar to join our team in Hobart TAS. This onsite role offers a salary of $33 – $36 per hour.
Positive Solutions is a purpose-driven Tasmanian not-for-profit dedicated to making a tangible difference in mental health and wellbeing. We are a small but impactful organisation supporting individuals, families, workplaces, and communities across Tasmania. As we expand, we are looking for an organised, values-aligned individual with a warm disposition to become part of our Client Services Team. If you possess the ability to manage phones, bookings, people, and priorities with composure and kindness, this role may be ideal for you.
What you’ll be doing: You will serve as the welcoming first point of contact for clients and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services. This position is well-suited for individuals with prior experience in medical or allied health reception who appreciate variety, enjoy working with people, and find satisfaction in a well-organised workday. You will bring a sense of calm during busy periods, demonstrate kindness in every interaction, and possess a talent for meticulous organisation.
Requirements:
- Medical or allied health reception experience is essential.
- Availability to work shifts between 8am and 6pm.
- Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills.
- Ability to respond to challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent organisation, multitasking, and attention to detail is critical.
- Confidence using Word, Excel, and email; Penelope experience is a bonus.
- A professional, positive, and team-focused approach.
- Permanent residency or Australian citizenship.
- A National Police Clearance and Working with Vulnerable People Registration, or the ability to obtain both.

Remuneration: Remuneration is in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
