Co-Curricular Administration Officer

Groves Christian College is seeking a Co-Curricular Administration Officer for a full-time, onsite position in Kingston. This role offers an opportunity to utilise administrative skills, interpersonal strengths, and Christian faith within a learning community.

The Co-Curricular Administration Officer (Sports and Arts) will support the delivery of a vibrant co-curricular program across sports and the arts. This role involves managing a wide range of administrative tasks essential for the smooth organisation of events, communications, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for sports-related inquiries from students, parents, and staff.
  • Coordinate communications with students, parents, staff, coaches, and volunteers.
  • Assist with the planning and logistics of sporting events, carnivals, and programs. This includes conducting risk assessments and managing student databases for rolls and events.
  • Oversee the issuing, return, and stocktaking of sports uniforms and equipment.
  • Manage the ordering of supplies and process invoices and receipts.
  • Support student representative sports nominations and associated communications.
  • Assist in promoting student achievements and co-curricular events.
  • Coordinate the Private Music Program.
  • Support the organisation of music and drama events, concerts, and performances.
  • Liaise with tutors, staff, and the wider community.
  • Support event logistics, which may include occasional after-hours attendance.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport within a school community.
  • Solutions-focused with strong systems capability.
  • Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage both digital and hard-copy documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook.
  • Knowledge of the Independent and Christian School sectors is desirable.
