Coles Merchandiser - Brand Influence Group

Brand Influence Group (BIG) is seeking a Coles Merchandiser to join their Coles Relay Team (CRT) on an ongoing, casual basis. This onsite role is located in Newcastle West.

About the Role:

This position involves completing various merchandising tasks including relays/planograms, point of sale set-up, pricing, and ticketing within the Newcastle West territory. The territory encompasses Coles Marketown and surrounding areas such as Newcastle Junction, Mayfield, Kotara, and Jewellstown.

Hours:

An average of 18-30 hours per week are expected, contingent on business needs. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours. Availability Monday to Friday is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with Grocery personnel.
• Create and maintain quality relays/planograms in stores.
• Ensure pricing and ticketing compliance.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Submit accurate reporting and upload quality photos via smartphone.
• Safely perform the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in planogram/layouts within a grocery or retail environment is highly desirable.
• Strong, friendly communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience working within the Coles Group is highly regarded but not essential.
• Ability to perform the physical and repetitive requirements of the role.
