Community Services Teacher | TAFE/VET Trainers (Casual Expression of Interest)
Box Hill Institute is seeking passionate Casual Teachers and VET Trainers & Assessors to join a strong pipeline of educators supporting our Community Services programs.
If you are an experienced Community Services professional, TAFE Teacher, or VET Trainer & Assessor ready to inspire the next generation, we encourage you to apply. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in counselling, mental health peer work, mental health, community services, or family violence.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. You will adapt teaching materials and delivery methods to maximise training opportunities and enhance student employability.
Casual opportunities are available.
Salary: L1 - L3 $91.42 - $98.77 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Deliver hands-on, industry-relevant training in classroom, simulated, and blended learning environments.
- Support students with assessment completion and practical skill development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for diverse student cohorts.
- Integrate real-world community services experience into classroom delivery.
- Ensure training delivery meets VET compliance and quality standards.
- Support students in successfully transitioning into employment or further study.
What You Bring:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or higher teaching qualifications.
- Relevant qualifications aligned to your teaching discipline.
- Strong industry experience in areas such as community services, mental health, or family violence.
