Fangda Australia Pty Ltd, the Australian branch of China Fangda Group, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a friendly and dynamic team, contributing to daily operations and the company's expansion. As a Contract Administrator, you will gain exposure to various facets of the facade industry in a challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer construction contracts in accordance with contract conditions and project requirements.
- Manage progress claims.
- Assess and process variations.
- Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate communication among clients, contractors, consultants, and relevant parties.
- Issue contract instructions, notices, and correspondence as needed.
- Maintain accurate contract records, including claim and variation registers, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and identify contractual risks or potential disputes.
- Assist in resolving contractual issues and facilitate dispute avoidance.
- Manage full-cycle accounting duties, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with clients, builders, suppliers, subcontractors, and the internal project team to monitor project progression from commencement until contract obligations are fulfilled.
- Report to the company management team.
- Review subcontract agreements to ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and implemented.
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution through effective contract management and timely documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Commerce or Accounting.
- 1-4 years of experience or above in Commerce or Accounting.
- Proficiency in using office software and accounting software.
- Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English.
- Independent, responsible, possessing good interpersonal skills, and capable of working under pressure.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts.
- Knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation management.
- Experience with contract administration software and project management systems is desirable.
