As our contracting division expands, we are seeking a highly organised and analytical Contracting & Compliance Specialist to contribute to the effective management of our contractor workforce and compliance operations.
About the Opportunity
This role involves close collaboration with the Contracting Lead, the Leadership Team, Recruitment Consultants, Payroll, and Finance. The position is responsible for the daily administration, compliance, and operational support of HPG's contracting workforce. You will be instrumental in ensuring correct contractor onboarding, accurate contract issuance, adherence to compliance obligations, and the maintenance of key systems. This role is suited to an individual who thrives on working with numbers, systems, reporting, and process improvement, while fostering strong relationships with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders. This position is vital to supporting the ongoing growth and success of HPG's contracting business.
Duties
- Prepare and issue contractor employment contracts.
- Complete onboarding and compliance requirements.
- Calculate placement margins and client quotations.
- Conduct VEVO, ID, and compliance checks.
- Maintain contractor records and audit documentation.
- Manage contractor lifecycle communications.
- Monitor contract extensions and assignment end dates.
- Support labour hire compliance administration.
- Manage client systems, including Beeline, Fieldglass, and Workday.
- Generate contractor and operational reports.
- Monitor contractor activity and workforce data.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the contracting function.
- Undertake day-to-day administrative tasks to support the Sydney office.
Skills and Experience
- A degree qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a compliance, contracts administration, workforce administration, recruitment operations, payroll administration, or a similar role.
- Advanced attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with multiple systems and databases.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
