Contractor Care Coordinator
Peoplebank Australia ACT is seeking a dedicated Contractor Care Coordinator to join their team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time, onsite position with a salary range of AUD 60,000 - 65,000 per annum. The role is initially offered on a fixed-term contract basis, with potential for further career development within the organisation.
As the Contractor Care Coordinator, you will serve as a critical point of contact, ensuring excellent post-placement support for contractors, consultants, and payrollers. You will report to the Director - State and will focus on onboarding processes, contract extensions, and managing contractor relationships to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all post-placement aspects of the contractor lifecycle, including onboarding, extensions, and terminations, ensuring adherence to client-specific requirements (excluding payroll).
- Act as the primary contact for contractors, delivering exceptional service and managing queries from initiation to resolution.
- Proactively engage with contractors, particularly during their initial month and six weeks prior to contract expiry, to discuss extension possibilities or new opportunities.
- Liaise with both clients and contractors to facilitate contract extensions, terminations, and associated documentation.
- Generate necessary documentation from the database, initiate change requests, and maintain accurate records.
- Cultivate professional and ethical relationships with clients and contractors, consistent with company values.
- Provide administrative and quality assurance support, which may include background checks, reporting, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Coach and mentor administrative staff to promote continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong emphasis on relationship building and maintenance.
- Attention to detail and organisational capabilities to effectively prioritise tasks.
- Demonstrated experience managing a significant pool of contractors, optimising their engagement and performance.
- Strong communication skills for effective liaison with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage queries professionally, both independently and as part of a team.
- A solid understanding of administrative processes and compliance requirements relevant to contractor management.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience within the staffing or recruitment industry.
- Knowledge of contractor lifecycle management and related documentation.
- Capacity to coach and mentor team members to elevate service standards.
- A proactive approach to identifying operational improvements.
