Our Brisbane office is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Corporate Services Mailroom Assistant to join our team. This role will involve providing mailroom and administrative support to our Brisbane operations. The working days are Monday to Friday, with hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with experience in a similar mailroom or administration role. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to build relationships at all levels, and an enjoyment of working within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mailroom support to the Brisbane office, including preparing mail for dispatch, collecting and delivering mail to each floor, processing unclaimed mail, and maintaining accurate courier records.
- Process invoices and assist the finance team with cheque signing duties and bank visits.
- Support offboarding and onboarding processes.
- Prepare and deliver monthly corporate services reports to the national Manager.
- Ensure all recycling bins are collected on a fortnightly basis.
Requirements:
- Previous administration or mailroom experience, or the desire to learn these skills.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with a good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of packages.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility around working hours when required.
This role necessitates manual handling and the lifting of boxes.
