Solar Victoria

Location: Melbourne VIC Salary: $100,894 - $114,476 plus superannuation Work type: full-time Work arrangement: hybrid

This position is within the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA).

The Culture and Workforce Officer will undertake a comprehensive range of human resource and administrative functions to support the key objectives and goals of the Workforce and Culture (W&C) team, situated within Solar Victoria's Office of the CEO Division.

This role involves end-to-end recruitment and other workforce activities throughout the employee lifecycle. It aims to support People Leaders and team members, and to foster a positive and engaging culture across Solar Victoria.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Mandatory:
  • Demonstrated experience or relevant qualifications in human resources or recruitment.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Awareness of privacy and confidentiality principles, including the secure handling and storage of HR information.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience supporting internal communications strategies, which may include drafting content, coordinating events, and promoting engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Victorian Public Sector policies, enterprise agreements, and HR frameworks.

This is a fixed-term position extending until 31 December 2026. Successful candidates may choose to be based at either our Melbourne or Morwell office. Hybrid work arrangements are available.
