Customer Experience Officer
Brook Recruitment is seeking a Customer Experience Officer for a full-time, onsite role in South Yarra. The salary offered is $65,000 - $70,000 plus Super.
This position is for a customer service professional who values accuracy and finds satisfaction in assisting others. You will serve as the initial point of contact for customers and business partners, addressing inquiries related to stock, lead times, orders, logistics, and inventory. Your interactions will significantly influence the customer's perception of the business.
If you possess a demonstrated history in customer-facing roles, a genuine interest in learning new systems and processes, and the initiative to manage cases from beginning to end, this role is suitable for you.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries from initiation to resolution, which includes assigning, documenting, following up, and escalating complex issues as required.
- Execute accurate and timely order entry, maintenance, and inquiry management.
- Monitor orders and inventory levels to optimise service delivery and minimise operational costs.
- Process purchase orders and transfer orders.
- Maintain daily logistics checklists, ensuring documentation is accurate and current.
- Engage proactively with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries.
Skills and Experience
- A consistent work history in customer service, administration, or a contact centre environment.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, conveyed with a warm, professional demeanour.
- Highly organised, with a proactive approach to managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; prior experience with Salesforce, Oracle, or similar CRM/ERP platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership, ask pertinent questions, and identify opportunities for improvement.

What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, sales, or another role involving significant interaction.
- Knowledge of Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite is highly regarded.
- A bachelor's degree is considered a plus.
- Clear, professional, and confident written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure.
- Self-motivated, with a sincere enthusiasm for assisting people and achieving accurate outcomes on the first attempt.
