Customer Service Officer

Elements Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a permanent, full-time position based in North Ryde. This role is onsite, with a salary range of AUD 70,000 - 80,000 per annum plus superannuation.

We are partnering with a prominent Australian FMCG organisation that supplies high-quality products nationwide. Due to ongoing expansion, they require a Customer Service Officer to join their high-performing team. This position extends beyond typical customer service duties, placing you as a crucial link between customers, sales, production, logistics, and supply chain teams. Your focus will be on ensuring every order and customer interaction is managed with professionalism, accuracy, and care. About the Role Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting customers and ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of orders from initiation to completion. You will be part of a collaborative team environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage customer inquiries received via phone, email, and online portals.
  • Resolve customer issues pertaining to orders, deliveries, and product inquiries.
  • Process returns, credits, invoices, and order amendments.
  • Liaise closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, and Finance teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and internal systems.
  • Monitor customer orders and provide proactive updates.
  • Assist with complaint resolution and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to support product sales and customer growth.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and service excellence initiatives.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service, Order Processing, Sales Support, Call Centre, or Administration.
  • Experience working within FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Logistics, or Supply Chain environments.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
  • A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
