Customer Service Officer
Eighty9 Limited is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our Corporate Services team. This full-time, onsite position is based at our Hindmarsh Head Office and will be integral to our commitment to service excellence.
The Role The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing professional reception and administration services at our Hindmarsh Head Office and Service Delivery site. This role is key to ensuring participants, staff, employers, and stakeholders receive efficient, friendly, and professional support. We are looking for a mature-minded individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, demonstrate initiative, and be a flexible team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse jobseekers, employers, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing reception services, telephone enquiries, and shared inbox communications.
- Coordinating mail and courier services, and maintaining reception, meeting, training, and common office areas.
- Overseeing office and kitchen supplies, catering arrangements, and general office administration.
- Supporting training bookings, participant referrals, appointment confirmations, and accurate data entry.
- Preparing documents and providing administrative support, including printing, scanning, and filing.
- Assisting with property administration, maintenance coordination, contractor liaison, and expenditure processing.
- Supporting executive and organisational activities, including travel bookings, staff events, meetings, and training programs.
About You
- Relevant experience in an administrative role within the training or employment services sector is desirable.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality administration and clerical services.
- Strong customer service skills, both over the phone and face-to-face.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, email, and internet applications.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- A friendly, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting others.
