ABT Supplies (SA) Pty Ltd, a prominent distributor within the building supplies sector, is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to join our Salisbury North team. This role is integral to our warehousing, storage, and distribution functions, focusing on the secure and timely delivery of goods to our customer base throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a delivery vehicle safely for the transport of goods to designated customer sites.
• Undertake the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring all products are handled with care.
• Maintain precise records of deliveries, documenting times, customer acknowledgements, and any noted discrepancies or damages.
• Engage with customers professionally, delivering a high standard of service.
• Comply with all company policies, operational procedures, and safety protocols.
• Provide assistance with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• A current driver’s licence with an unblemished driving history.
• A Medium Rigid (MR) class driver’s licence is essential.
• Experience in a comparable delivery driver or courier capacity is preferred, particularly within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver is required.
• Demonstrated strong customer service capabilities and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in time management and organisational skills.
• Physical capability to lift and manoeuvre substantial items.
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre items weighing up to 30kg.
• Possession of valid Australian work rights or a work visa.
