Machinery Drive Wreckers is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Picker to join our team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This casual position involves warehouse operations and delivery responsibilities, contributing to prompt and accurate order fulfilment for our customers. You will be a key part of our warehousing and distribution operations.

Hours: 3 days per week, 24 hours per week. Salary: $35 per hour. Work Type: Casual. Location: Burleigh Heads, Queensland.

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders accurately from warehouse inventory based on customer specifications.
• Preparing shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct documentation and labelling.
• Loading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Delivering products to customers within scheduled timeframes, maintaining professional standards.
• Obtaining customer signatures and handling payment collection where applicable.
• Maintaining accurate records of all picks, deliveries, and transactions.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks and promptly reporting any maintenance issues.
• Organising and maintaining warehouse storage areas for stock accessibility and cleanliness.
• Supporting inventory management through stock counts and organisation.
• Communicating effectively with the warehouse team and management regarding order status and delivery issues.

Requirements:

• Current valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in warehouse picking, packing, or distribution roles.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar customer-facing logistics role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry items regularly throughout the day.
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software (preferred).
• Ability to work flexibly as required in a casual capacity.
