Depot Staff - APD Parcel Delivery - Adelaide SA

APD Parcel Delivery, a South Australian-owned business with over 55 years of operation, is seeking focused and reliable Depot Staff to join our expanding team. We are a powerhouse in parcel and palletised freight distribution, servicing Metro Adelaide and Regional SA with a fleet of over 120 vehicles. Each day, we deliver more than 10,000 parcels and are committed to accountability for every delivery.

This full-time, onsite role at our Dudley Park depot is driven by the primary objective of ensuring accurate freight processing for on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

• The Daily Sort: Efficiently and accurately sort a high volume of freight into specific regional and metro runs.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely operate in the yard to load and unload trucks, maintaining freight integrity.
• Data & Logistics: Assist with freight data entry to ensure accurate tracking systems.
• Yard Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised depot.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday.
• Rotating Saturday morning overtime shifts may be required.

This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in transport or warehousing is highly regarded.
• A strong work ethic, understanding that hitting daily service goals keeps customer freight moving.
• The ability to maintain focus, speed, and accuracy under pressure.
• A proven track record as a team player capable of problem-solving on the fly.
• A current Forklift Licence is preferable.
