C&K Blackbutt Community Kindergarten is seeking a highly valued Director/Teacher to lead a secure, supportive, and stimulating learning environment for children, their families, and the broader community. Your contributions, ideas, and experience will be instrumental in cultivating a culture where all individuals can feel a sense of belonging, develop, and flourish.

This is a permanent part-time position, involving 7.5 hours of work every Thursday, Friday, and alternate Wednesdays. The role operates during school terms, allowing for holiday periods. A retention bonus of up to $9500.00 is available.

What You’ll Bring

Commitment to guiding children's early learning and development is key to success in this role. C&K strongly upholds its child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed, you will possess:

  • An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A current Police Check.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework, and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.

C&K is a child-safe organisation. All employees are required to undergo a police check and must not be a ‘Restricted Person’ or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
