Distribution and Planning Coordinator Tronox Henderson, W.A. Full-time, Permanent

In Australia, our operations involve the extraction and processing of mineral sands to create valuable products such as ilmenite, zircon, rutile, and titanium dioxide pigment, which are then exported globally. Our Australian sites are part of the international operations of Tronox Limited, a world leader in integrated titanium dioxide manufacturing.
About the Role Tronox has an opportunity for an efficient and dynamic Distribution & Planning Coordinator. This role focuses on optimising logistics processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction while minimising costs. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Henderson Site, offering a compressed 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of finished goods inventory at warehouse locations, including inventory replenishment.
- Prepare documentation that accompanies physical shipments.
- Report applicable logistics data and analyse information as directed.
- Upon request, assist in the management of finished products in Ocean and Rail containers for customers.
- Ensure the order-to-delivery (OTD) process is achieved at the lowest cost to the customer.
- Ensure all containers and trucks are loaded safely and according to plan.
- Respond promptly and effectively to investigations concerning logistics processes, including carrier-related issues.
- Comply with laws and safety regulations relevant to all aspects of logistics and product movement.
- Develop a working knowledge of SAP.
- Approve invoices and assist in dispute resolution.
- Understand and support the maintenance of an effective system of internal controls.
Requirements
- SAP experience is highly desired but not essential.
- Prior experience in Logistics is highly desired, but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Highly developed administration and MS Office Suite skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new skills and solve problems creatively.
- Ability to work with some level of independence and efficiency in time management.
- Comfortable working in a team setting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
