SAPE Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Storeman for a full-time position at our Condell Park facility. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution network, blending warehouse duties with delivery responsibilities. You will be instrumental in ensuring the organised storage of inventory and the timely, professional delivery of products to our customers, directly impacting customer satisfaction and SAPE Group's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain company vehicles, specifically Class C automatic vans, for safe and efficient goods transportation.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and times.
• Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying against delivery documentation.
• Organise and store stock within the warehouse using appropriate methods and systems.
• Pick and pack orders with accuracy for delivery.
• Operate warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery times and potential delays.

What We're Looking For:

• A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles operated, accompanied by a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in a driver or storeman role, preferably within warehousing or distribution.
• Physical fitness and the ability to regularly lift, carry, and move goods.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking and documentation.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and experience with inventory control is desirable.
• A forklift licence or a willingness to obtain one is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to health and safety practices and adherence to workplace procedures.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
