Job Description

Early Arrears Consultant

Company: FleetPartners Location: North Sydney Work Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: Hybrid

FleetPartners is a prominent ASX-listed entity providing fleet leasing, fleet management, and novated leasing services across Australia and New Zealand. Our mission is to assist businesses and individuals in advancing with efficient and sustainable vehicle solutions. Our people are central to our success; we are a customer-focused team dedicated to achieving excellent results for our customers and each other. We foster an environment that encourages personal and professional development, enabling individuals to perform at their best. If you seek a workplace that supports your growth and cultivates an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere, you will find FleetPartners to be an ideal environment.

The Role

As an Early Arrears Consultant (Novated), you will be instrumental in proactively overseeing customer budgets throughout the duration of their novated lease. Your focus will be on budget reviews, recalculations, and amendments. You will analyse customer accounts to identify budget shortfalls or surpluses, implementing necessary changes to keep customers on track and minimise end-of-lease liabilities. This role is primarily administration-based, suitable for an individual who enjoys working with figures, adhering to established processes, and maintaining a high degree of accuracy. A significant portion of your time will involve reviewing accounts, processing budget amendments, and updating customer records. Additionally, you will engage with customers and internal teams to clarify changes, address queries, and offer support as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and taking ownership of end-to-end budget management processes, including customer inquiries related to novated leasing and salary packaging.
  • Proactively contacting customers to explain their current and future budget positions.
  • Providing support and acting as an escalation point for budget management requests in the absence of the Customer Experience Manager, which includes delegating tasks and driving successful outcomes.
  • Identifying and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce the number of customer budgets in surplus or deficit.

About You

You are a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who enjoys working with numbers, analysing information, and delivering accurate results. You take pride in your administrative capabilities, possess a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working through processes to ensure customer budgets are managed effectively. While you will dedicate considerable time to reviewing accounts, processing amendments, and maintaining records, you are also comfortable communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to offer support and deliver a positive customer experience. You will excel in a collaborative team setting and approach problem-solving proactively, balancing accuracy, efficiency, and customer excellence in all your endeavours.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience in an Early Arrears, Customer Experience, Operations, or Administration role (preferred), with a strong emphasis on customer excellence.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify budget variances and propose solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage high-volume administrative tasks.
  • Confidence in engaging with customers and stakeholders, supported by strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience utilising Salesforce, Genesys, and/or other CRM systems, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently achieve performance targets.

Benefits

We offer more than just a role:

  • 27 days of annual leave per year.
  • Hybrid work flexibility, with an office environment offering views of the Harbour Bridge.
  • A ‘Dress for your Day’ policy.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers, irrespective of gender and without a minimum tenure requirement, and 4 weeks of paid leave for secondary carers.
  • Ongoing training to support your development and growth, with genuine career development opportunities.
  • A rewards program, including a variety of discounts from numerous retailers.
  • An extensive range of other employee benefits.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where every individual feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive. We are proudly recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) and accredited by WORK180 for our commitment to supporting women in building meaningful, long-term careers, including our recognition as one of the Top 101 Workplaces for Women 2025. We are also progressing our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to build stronger partnerships and create meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences, and we are available to support any access requirements or adjustments needed throughout the recruitment process.
