In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering a high-quality educational program designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.

Why Work at Dayaa?

  • You'll Be More Than a Number: Within our intimate 57-place centre, you will forge genuine, meaningful connections with each child, family, and team member. You are integral to our community.
  • Your Voice Matters: We cultivate a collaborative culture where your ideas, creativity, and professional expertise are welcomed and celebrated. You will have the autonomy to shape your program.

  • Someone who will be kind.
  • Someone who will be nice.
  • Someone who will do far jumps in the sandpit.
  • Someone who will play Lego with them.

If you are comfortable engaging in play, building Lego creations, and participating in games like hide and seek, you may be the ideal candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate an educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and involve them in their child's learning journey.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Ensure adherence to the National Quality Standards (NQS) and all regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the centre's continuous improvement and quality practices.
  • Mentor and guide assistant educators and support staff.

What You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylaxis training).
  • A sound understanding of the EYLF and the National Quality Standards.
  • A warm, nurturing approach and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience programming and documenting using the EYLF.
  • Experience working in a small centre environment.

If you are seeking a role where you feel valued, supported, and enthusiastic about your work, we encourage you to apply.
