Joining Mayfield Early Education Oakbank means becoming part of a supportive community that values both children and educators. We encourage individual growth and offer learning opportunities within an inclusive environment that prioritises connection.

This role extends beyond standard childcare, positioning educators as mentors and guides who foster a nurturing space for children’s exploration and understanding. • Utilising keen observation skills to address the unique needs and interests of individual children.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to maintain skills and align with best practices.

Role Requirements:

  • A Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA approved equivalent.
  • Availability to work full-time on a rotating roster between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Training in Child Protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety, or a willingness to obtain these.
  • Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Child Safe Standards.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

What Mayfield Early Education Offers:

We are committed to supporting our staff. Benefits include:

  • Generous enrolment discounts for your children at any Mayfield Centre.
  • Career development opportunities, including a monthly leadership series and career progression pathways.
  • Professional development opportunities, which may include overseas study tours.
  • Partnerships with KKTC (backed by TAFE) for Nationally Recognised Traineeships, offering qualifications from Cert III to Bachelor and Management levels in ECEC.
  • Above award rates for suitable candidates in appropriate roles.
  • Staff referral bonuses.
  • Reward and recognition programs for all employees.
  • 24/7 confidential medical, safety, and wellbeing support through our partnership with Sonder, available to you and your family.

Mayfield Early Education, including its Board, Management, Employees, and Volunteers, is dedicated to the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children. Our organisation maintains a zero-tolerance policy for child abuse and neglect, and we actively uphold our child safety policies and procedures to create a child-safe environment. All staff are expected to uphold our values of respect, inclusion, and child protection at all times.
