Early Childhood Teacher

Oxanda Child Care is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our purpose-built Early Education Service located in Queanbeyan. We are dedicated to providing a secure and nurturing learning environment that supports the growth and development of resilient, confident, and capable individuals.

At our Bluebird Queanbeyan service, we foster genuine and caring relationships with our children, families, and the wider Queanbeyan community. We aim for everyone to feel a sense of belonging in a unique community that values diversity.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year Work type: Full-time Location: Onsite, Queanbeyan

Task & Responsibilities: Our High-Quality Educational Curriculum is child-led, holistic, and enjoyable. Within our creatively designed studios, we believe in a child's innate ability to explore and discover. Educators craft exciting and innovative experiences that captivate children's curiosity. This role involves standard tasks and responsibilities for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA) with NSW registration for a full-time ECT position.
  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in an ECT role at an Early Childhood Education Centre.
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check (Employee).
  • Current First Aid with CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection certificates or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Safe Sleep and Food Handling certificates or willingness to obtain.
  • Work experience in an Early Childhood setting.
  • Passionate about delivering exceeding early education and care.
