ADF Careers seeks an Education Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Melbourne VIC, offering a salary of $95,000 – $105,000 per year. Your Role: The Army provides world-class military training and requires quality educators to induct and train personnel. As an Education Officer, you will teach the next generation of Army soldiers. Responsibilities include:
- Developing educational policies.
- Implementing and assessing educational policies.
- Educating Officer Cadets.
- Conducting courses via distance education.
- Performing other related tasks.
You will have the opportunity to travel and work in diverse environments such as Army Headquarters, Learning Production Centres, Royal Military College – Duntroon, Defence Training Centres, and overseas locations. As an Officer, you will lead a team of education professionals, providing advice and mentorship while gaining transferable skills.
Training: Upon securing this role, the Defence Force will provide all necessary skills through leadership and military training at the Royal Military College, Duntroon – Canberra. This initial training period is 42 days. Subsequent military courses will further enhance your skills, and Army sponsorship schemes are available for professional qualification advancement.
Salary: You will receive a competitive annual salary of $97,168, plus a 16.4% superannuation contribution from the commencement of your employment, irrespective of age, experience, or qualifications.
Location: Opportunities exist to explore Australia and the world. Following initial military training in Canberra, you may be posted to major base locations across Australia or to Training Establishments in regional areas. Relocation is required as specific posting locations cannot be guaranteed for the duration of your service.

Requirements:
- Hold a teaching degree (Bachelor or Master’s).
