GJCM Surveys is seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our team in Townsville. We are a survey consultancy specialising in high-standard engineering survey services for large construction projects. This full-time, on-site position offers an hourly rate of $50 – $60, with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering survey services on large construction projects.
• Potentially travel within North Queensland, Australia.

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
• 5 to 10 years of industry experience.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Familiarity with Terramodel, Trimble Business Centre (TBC), and 12D Software.
• Familiarity with Trimble Surveying Equipment.
• Attention to detail with a strong understanding of tolerances and achieving high precision results.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Good communication skills.
• Road construction experience is necessary.
• Process plant experience (nuts and bolts) is necessary.
• Must be registered or possess the qualifications for registration with the Queensland Board of Surveyors or Surveyors Australia.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Machine Guidance Systems is preferred.
