Expression of Interest: Head of Department - Science Kingston State College Queensland Department of Education

Kingston State College is inviting Expressions of Interest for a Head of Department - Science. This leadership role is suited to an experienced educator with a passion for curriculum excellence, staff development, and enhancing student outcomes.

This is a temporary, full-time position for Semester 2, commencing 13 July 2026 and concluding 11 December 2026, subject to determination. The temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest, with any extensions not exceeding 12 months.

About the Role As Head of Department - Science, you will guide the faculty in delivering engaging, future-focused learning programs designed to foster scientific literacy, inquiry skills, and student achievement. You will be a member of the leadership team, contributing to a collective vision centered on engagement, achievement, and future pathways for all students.
