About the Role

As the Executive Operations Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner to the Managing Director and Executive team, guiding the operational performance of Astrolabe Group. This multifaceted role encompasses executive support, business operations, people and culture oversight, marketing management, project governance, and financial administration. You will manage a Team Assistant and be directly accountable for ongoing business improvement, ensuring our team is enabled to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

You are a proactive, commercially minded operations professional who excels in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and seeks to make a tangible impact on our business and team. You possess both creative and strategic thinking abilities, leveraging a broad skillset to implement practical, proven improvements that streamline operations and support business objectives.

Our Ideal Candidate Brings:

  • Operational & Project Management Expertise
  • Strong project management, workflow optimisation, and client relationship skills.
  • A proven track record of supporting senior executives and leading people.
  • Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in business operations, executive support, or a similar leadership role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or Change Management are highly valued.
  • Industry experience in professional services consulting is desirable.
  • Excellent Communication
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, enabling effective connection with executives, staff, clients, and external providers.
  • Critical & Collaborative Thinking
  • The ability to think critically, work collaboratively, and remain calm under pressure while driving accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Tech & Digital Savviness
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office, CRMs, and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with automation/AI-enabled digital workflow platforms.
