Faculty Positions in Computer Science and Technology/Artificial Intelligence
Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Computer Science and Technology/Artificial Intelligence. The expected commencement for these roles is September 2026.
Job Description We invite applications from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Artificial intelligence
- Computer vision and pattern recognition
- Image processing
- Natural language processing
- Virtual reality and game development
- Robotics
- Software engineering
- Programming languages
- Multimedia
- Computer graphics and visualization
Job Requirements Candidates are required to hold a PhD degree in a relevant discipline. Successful applicants must demonstrate an ability to conduct independent research that yields impactful outcomes, such as publications in high-quality, internationally recognised, indexed journals, and other scholarly work as appropriate and recognised within their disciplines. A commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate or postgraduate levels is also expected.
The academic rank assigned will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.
Benefits and Appointment Terms Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience, ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per year. Benefits include a housing allowance, leave entitlements, social insurance, and commercial insurance. Appointments will initially be made on a fixed-term contract basis, subject to mutual agreement.
