The Role

This position is rostered Monday to Friday with variable shift times. By applying, you confirm your availability to work across these days.

As the Senior In-Store Visual Merchandiser, you will be instrumental in engaging customers with our brand and products through the creation of visually compelling merchandise displays. You will make customer-focused decisions, implement visual merchandising directives, and ensure outstanding store presentation. You will collaborate with the broader VM and Management team, taking the lead on all in-store visual aspects. This role involves mentoring and training the Junior VM and store team to consistently uphold Visual Merchandise standards, and supporting the Store Manager in maintaining an elevated level of store presentation aligned with Company Standards. A key responsibility will be developing and driving the store's creative strategy, considering the customer demographic and aligning with JD Sports' commercial objectives.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Creating exceptional customer experiences through inspiring visual merchandising.
• Planning and executing in-store creative concepts, including internal and third-party campaigns, window displays, and mannequin styling to advance the brand vision and deliver a world-class shopping experience.
• Initiating and implementing innovative VM and creative solutions to support store functions.
• Organising and executing the setup for all promotional events and installations for the brand and store.
• Supporting the Store Manager in planning and managing multiple key priorities within the store, encompassing campaign launches, visual merchandising, stock management, and in-store marketing.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in a comparable role within a high-turnover, large-format fashion retailer.
• Tertiary qualifications in Visual Merchandising (Cert IV / Diploma) are favourable.
• A passion for fashion with a strong knowledge of our brands.
• A customer-first mindset and a dedication to creating a positive customer shopping experience.
• Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and commerciality to make decisions that cater to our customer base and drive sales results.
• Excellent time management skills, including prioritisation and delegation, ensuring daily priorities are met in a timely manner.
• Confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders across all business levels.
• The ability to adapt and respond positively to change as company processes evolve due to JD Sports' rapid business growth.
