The Role

This position is rostered across XXX to XXX with variable shift times. By applying, you confirm your availability to work during these specified days.

At JD Sports, the customer is central to all our activities. As a Supervisor, you will support the management team by leading your department in delivering outstanding customer service to every JD customer. You will collaborate closely with the store's Management Team and be responsible for upholding standards and achieving results within your department. You will lead by example, drive sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coach and develop your team, and maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring your department is consistently replenished.

As a Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Modelling exceptional customer service for every customer, every time.
• Coaching the team to deliver exceptional service and foster a 'service over task' environment.
• Driving conversion, sales, and KPI performance.
• Working with the Back of House team to ensure product availability on the shop floor.
• Upholding company retail standards and delivering store visual excellence.
• Supporting the management team to enhance financial performance within your department.
• Supporting the management team to implement all internal and external profit protection processes.
• Assisting with new team member role inductions and ongoing team training.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years of experience within retail or a similar industry.
• A passion for delivering an exceptional service experience to our customers.
• A positive attitude with the ability to create a motivating environment for your team.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure daily priorities are addressed efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to thrive in social settings through engagement with customers and team members.
