The Role

This position operates on a rostered schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, with varying shift times. Applicants must confirm their availability to work across these days.

At JD Sports, the customer is central to all operations. As a Sales Assistant, the primary objective is to deliver outstanding customer service, creating memorable shopping experiences and fostering a lasting positive connection with the brand. A Sales Assistant at JD is expected to be energetic, genuine, and customer-focused, providing personalised assistance to customers seeking top products and leading brands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating positivity and professionalism.
• Acquiring and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Providing personalised one-on-one customer service.
• Assisting customers with inquiries and processing sales.
• Collaborating with management and the store team to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks, such as visual merchandising setup, store cleanliness, and presentation.
• Escalating customer complaints to management.
• Consistently completing mandatory training related to products, policies, and procedures.
