The Role

This position is rostered Tuesday to Saturday with varied shift times. By applying, you confirm your availability to work these days.

At JD Sports, the customer is central to our operations. As a Sales Assistant, your primary objective is to deliver outstanding customer service, creating memorable shopping experiences and fostering positive brand connections. A JD Sales Assistant is energetic, genuine, and customer-focused, providing personalised assistance to customers seeking the best products and major brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating positivity and professionalism.
• Acquiring and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Providing personalised one-on-one customer service.
• Assisting customers with inquiries and processing sales.
• Collaborating with management and the store team to achieve KPIs and targets.
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks, including visual merchandising setup, store cleanliness, and presentation.
• Escalating customer complaints to management.
• Consistently completing mandatory training related to product, policy, and procedures.

• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
• The ability to provide excellent service and go above and beyond.
• Passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
