General Hand NSW Rural Fire Service Forbes

This position offers temporary employment until 31 December 2026. It is a part-time role with a 28-hour working week, classified at RFS Level 1/2.

The annual salary ranges from $44,831 to $79,006 (pro rata), with an additional 12% superannuation. The role is located in Forbes, within the Mid Lachlan Valley Rural Fire District, and includes free onsite car parking.

Role Responsibilities The General Hand role provides administrative and operational support for emergency and business services. Duties include:

  • Maintaining records
  • Responding to enquiries
  • Assisting with incident coordination
  • Occasionally supporting operational activities

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate for this General Hand role is reliable and proactive, capable of providing both administrative and operational support. Essential qualities include:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage records efficiently
  • Ability to respond to enquiries efficiently
  • Willingness to assist with incident coordination and operational activities
