Tradewind Australia is partnering with a respected secondary school in Essendon to find a Health and PE Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term contract. This role supports a busy, student-focused campus and includes homeroom duties. About the Role You will deliver engaging Health and Physical Education programs to secondary students, designing lessons that foster confidence, participation, and lifelong wellbeing habits. The role also involves homeroom responsibilities, assisting students with daily connections, routines, and pastoral care. This position is suited to a teacher who can quickly integrate, build rapport, and contribute effectively to a structured team.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Health and PE lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Create inclusive learning environments that promote participation and confidence.
- Build strong relationships with students through consistent classroom and yard presence.
- Undertake homeroom responsibilities, supporting student wellbeing and routines.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, timely feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team planning and school initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification (secondary).
- Current or pending VIT registration.
- Experience teaching Health and Physical Education, or strong placement experience.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to establish routines quickly.
- Confident communication with students, colleagues, and families.
- Commitment to child safety, student wellbeing, and inclusive practice.
