Health Educator - Parramatta
UNE Partnerships Pty Ltd is seeking a Health Educator for a full-time, permanent position based in Parramatta. This hybrid role offers a salary of $89,000 FTE plus a car allowance and superannuation.

The Opportunity: This role involves delivering nationally recognised training to Year 11 and 12 students undertaking the HLT33021 Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance within our VET in Schools program. You will be based in schools in Western Sydney and wider, impacting young people by guiding them towards career pathways in Allied Health and Community Services. The Educator will deliver weekly learning content and assessment guidance in a classroom setting during school terms, with availability for individual support via phone, email, and online during agreed hours.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver engaging vocational education and training through weekly face-to-face workshops using established curriculum.
- Assess student work, providing constructive feedback to foster confidence and competence.
- Offer personalised support via phone, email, and online platforms to facilitate student success.
- Develop tailored Learning Support Plans for students with diverse needs.
- Proactively engage with at-risk students to address barriers and support their progress.
- Mentor and inspire students throughout their learning journey.
- Provide support to students during work placements.
- Collaborate with school staff and the UNE Partnerships team for cohesive learning experiences.
- Travel to partner schools across Sydney and attend Health Hub locations as required.
- Engage with industry partners and workplaces, including trainee visits and collaborative opportunities to enhance student outcomes.
- Undertake administrative and compliance tasks, including assessment marking and maintaining accurate training records.
- Represent UNEP through school engagement activities, career expos, and trainer upskilling.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) and/or a higher qualification in Adult or Vocational Education.
- Vocational or tertiary qualifications in a relevant allied or primary health discipline.
- Industry experience in a relevant health care setting.
- Current NSW Working With Children’s Check (WWCC).
- Ability to successfully complete an Australian Federal Police Check.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience in the delivery and assessment of VET programs.
- Competency in using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle) and virtual classroom systems (e.g., Teams).
- Demonstrated understanding of engagement strategies for diverse learners.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
Work Type: Permanent Full time. Part-time considered for 3 days per week.
Location: Parramatta. This hybrid role services partner schools across Sydney and the Central Coast. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to schools across Western Sydney.
Appointment commencing: Immediate.
Salary: $89,000 FTE per annum plus Motor Vehicle Allowance and Superannuation.
