Human Resources Assistant
Lexus of Perth is seeking a Human Resources Assistant for a permanent, part-time position. This role is based at our dealership in Osborne Park, WA 6017, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to HR operations and gain experience within automotive retail. The position involves key day-to-day administrative functions to support smooth HR operations across the dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Processing employee documentation, including recruitment paperwork, employment contracts, and personnel records.
- Supporting the recruitment process through interview scheduling, preparing candidate information, and maintaining applicant databases.
- Assisting with employee onboarding and induction activities.
- Maintaining and updating HR files and records in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Responding to employee inquiries concerning HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting with payroll administration tasks and employee benefits documentation.
- Supporting the organisation and coordination of HR-related events and training sessions.
- Performing general office duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources management.
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Experience with HR management systems or databases is preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling personnel records and sensitive information.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters professionally.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in an HR environment.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
