Lead Professional Support – Education Services
NextSense is seeking a Lead Professional Support – Education Services for a permanent, full-time position based at our Macquarie Park location. This role is onsite.

The salary is up to $106,564 plus superannuation, with the option for 100% salary packaging.
Generous leave entitlements comprise two weeks paid Christmas leave, four weeks annual leave, and extensive personal/carer's leave. Paid parental leave is available: 14 weeks for primary carers and 6 weeks for secondary carers. Access to industry-leading education, professional development, and career pathways is provided.
This role reports directly to the Head of Education Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Experience:
- Lead the coordination of administrative operations within NextSense Education, ensuring a professional, responsive, and welcoming service for students, families, staff, and visitors.
- Facilitate seamless communication and liaison between the Admin Team and Education Leaders to support effective daily operations and service delivery.
- Serve as the initial escalation point for complex enquiries and matters, ensuring prompt, sensitive, and appropriate issue management.
- Support and coordinate administrative processes, including finance, to enable effective client service delivery.
- Lead data collection processes and census administration.
- Client Administration:
- Support the effective use of CRM systems.
- Oversee processes for student records in compliance with legislative, privacy, and organisational requirements.
- Maintain accountability for the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of student and operational data across all administrative systems.
- Service Administration and Operations:
- Lead a small team of Education Services Admin Staff.
- Act as a key contact for NextSense Head of Roles.
- Manage financial responsibilities, including budget setting, monitoring, invoicing, collections, problem-solving, and financial acquittals of federal and state government funding.
- Other Duties:
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes continuous improvement, professional learning, and high-quality service delivery.
- Actively participate in team meetings, providing feedback and suggestions to support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support organisational initiatives, including marketing activities, client engagement strategies, and the ongoing development and nurturing of client relationships.
- Undertake reasonable travel across other sites within the Network as required.
- Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by the manager.
About You:
- Experience in stakeholder management within multidisciplinary settings.
- Experience in administrative roles.
- Demonstrated success in identifying inefficiencies and implementing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, and related systems.
- Experience providing administrative support to professional staff in health, disability, or education settings is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience using Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems to maintain accurate client records, document service interactions, and support effective service coordination.
- Experience with Compass and OWNA is preferred.
- You are obliged to become familiar with, and comply with child protection policies and legislation, as amended from time to time.
- A valid Working With Children Check and National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain them, is required.
