Leader of Learning - Academic Pathways

St Paul's College is seeking future-focused educational leaders passionate about empowering students to realise their potential and confidently pursue pathways aligned with their strengths, interests, and aspirations.

The Opportunity This is a permanent Teacher (Secondary) position with a Leadership Position (POR 2) and a POR Tenure of 2 Years, commencing January 19, 2027.

The Leader of Learning – Academic Pathways reports to the Head of Teaching & Learning (Secondary). This role provides strategic leadership and coordination for academic pathway planning and student engagement within the Secondary school. Responsibilities include overseeing key processes that support students in making informed subject and post-school choices. This encompasses the coordination of Exploring Identities & Futures (EIF)/Activating Identities & Futures (AIF) processes and the senior subject counselling program.

Furthermore, the Leader of Learning – Academic Pathways will provide oversight of student participation in university engagement opportunities, such as Headstart programs. The role also leads the coordination of Year 12 Academic Support to promote student success and completion pathways. As a key leader within the Senior STAR Program, the role supports the development of personalised learning pathways designed to maximise student achievement, engagement, and transition to further education, training, or employment.
