Leader of Professional Practice

St Paul's College is seeking collaborative and growth-focused educators passionate about developing the professional capability of others to join our team as a Leader of Professional Practice.

The Opportunity This is a Permanent Teacher (Secondary) Leadership Position with a POR 2 designation and a 2-year tenure. The role will commence on January 19, 2027.

Role Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Teaching and Learning (Secondary), the Leader of Professional Practice is instrumental in enhancing teacher capability and professional practice across the College. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing induction, mentoring, coaching, and accreditation support to newly appointed, early career, and developing teachers.
  • Facilitating professional learning and career development opportunities for staff.
  • Collaborating with leaders and teachers to promote evidence-informed practice, reflective professional growth, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Enhancing teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
