Learning Enrichment Teacher (Learning Support)
Ravenswood School for Girls is a K-12 day and boarding school for girls, operated by the Uniting Church, situated on Sydney’s North Shore. The school offers the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme, alongside the PYP in its Junior School. Ravenswood seeks a passionate and collaborative Learning Enrichment Teacher to join its Teaching and Learning team. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, evidence-informed approach to inclusive education within a high-performing and supportive school environment.
About the Role
The Learning Enrichment Teacher is crucial in cultivating an inclusive learning environment that enables all students to access and engage meaningfully with the curriculum. In close partnership with classroom teachers, students, families, key staff members, and external professionals, you will assist in the design and implementation of differentiated and adjusted learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to support the delivery of differentiated, inclusive curriculum and assessment.
- Design and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and targeted interventions to support diverse learners.
- Monitor student progress and utilise data to inform personalised support strategies.
- Provide effective case management, including documentation and coordination with staff, families, and external professionals.
- Support NCCD processes, NESA Examination Provisions, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
About You
You will possess:
- A strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated instruction.
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- High-level organisational and case management capabilities.
- Knowledge of NCCD requirements and NESA Examination Provisions, or a willingness to develop this expertise.
- Post-graduate qualifications in Inclusive Education or Special Education (desirable).
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional growth.
