Lifestyle Sports Coordinator

Caloundra City Private School is seeking a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Sports Coordinator to join its dynamic school community in Pelican Waters. This part-time, onsite position offers an hourly rate of $33 – $34, with approximately 32 hours per week across 39 weeks per year.

The Lifestyle Sports Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the school’s sports and lifestyle programs, with a strong focus on student wellbeing, inclusion, and the development of transferable skills through sport. Reporting to the Deputy Principal – Operations, this role promotes school-wide participation in sport as a means to develop teamwork, resilience, leadership, and self-efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and manage the school’s sports and lifestyle programs.
• Coordinate interschool and intraschool sporting activities.
• Support HPE teachers in delivering high-quality curriculum-based physical education programs.
• Plan and lead Prep-Year 10 non-curriculum-based sports classes.
• Liaise and create partnerships with coaches, referees, external providers, and other schools.
• Promote inclusive participation and healthy lifestyle habits among students.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting, including TASS data entry.
• Manage sports facilities, equipment, and venue bookings.
• Support the implementation of the school’s sports and wellbeing strategy.

About You:

• Experience in sports coordination or management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong organisational, event management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
• A passion for promoting active and healthy lifestyles and student wellbeing.
• Experience working directly with youth in a coaching or instructor capacity.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience delivering or supporting the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
• Previous experience using Meet Manager software.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one prior to commencement).
