The Opportunity Reporting to the Operations Manager, AVI is seeking individuals with a broad range of trade skills to contribute across its manufacturing departments, including construction, contracting, and logistics. Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for logistics and warehouse operations, including receiving goods, packing, preparing freight, and handling documentation.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment to support the movement of stock and freight within AVI's operations.
- Maintain an organised, clean, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Contribute to accurate inventory and dispatch tracking.
- This role involves manual labour with frequent physical lifting. Tasks also include building crates, operating power tools and equipment, painting, and performing truck and forklift spotting duties.
About You
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in a warehouse, transport, dispatch, or logistics role.
- Be physically capable of lifting and moving materials safely and in a controlled manner.
- Have a basic understanding of packing, labelling, or receiving procedures.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a willingness to follow structured processes.
- Exhibit good teamwork, reliability, and communication skills with supervisors and peers.
- Hold a forklift licence or be willing to obtain one.
- Be willing to undertake on-the-job training and WHS instruction.
- Possess a current police clearance or be able to obtain one.
- Hold a C Class driving licence; an HR licence is preferred.
- Display a strong work ethic, be enthusiastic and conscientious, with a flexible approach.
