Maintenance Scheduler
Recruitment Vision is seeking an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join their team. This is a contract position based onsite in Torrensville.
This role is an opportunity to join a team that supports the operation of commercial Australia, coordinating maintenance personnel across multiple Campuses in the Adelaide CBD and Metro area. It offers a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

About the Role: As the Maintenance Scheduler, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance activities across various campuses. Your responsibilities will include coordinating trades and maintenance staff, managing work priorities, and maintaining communication with stakeholders to ensure service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance personnel across multiple campuses.
- Allocate trades and maintenance staff to planned and reactive work orders.
- Liaise with University stakeholders, supervisors, and technicians to prioritise maintenance requests.
- Monitor daily schedules and adjust resources according to changing operational needs.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate scheduling records, work orders, and maintenance reports.
- Coordinate employee rosters, shift coverage, and leave requirements.
- Track job progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.
- Verify employee licences, inductions, and compliance documentation before deployment.
- Coordinate contractor access, permits, and site requirements.
- Respond efficiently to urgent maintenance requests and emergency call-outs.
- Promote a safe workplace by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and University procedures.
- Build strong working relationships with client representatives and maintenance teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and workforce utilisation.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of maintenance personnel as workforce demands increase.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in scheduling, workforce planning, or maintenance coordination.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using scheduling or maintenance management systems is desirable.
