Medical Receptionist - Belconnen
Hearing Australia is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team in Belconnen. This is an onsite position.
About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist at Hearing Australia, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering clients of all backgrounds. You will contribute to providing the latest best practice services for those in need and gain valuable skills with Australia's largest provider of government-funded hearing care. This permanent, full-time position may involve supporting the Tuggeranong & Deakin hearing centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and managing counter and telephone inquiries.
- Providing reception cover and undertaking general administration duties, including booking client appointments, processing claims, data entry, and preparing monthly reports.
- Liaising extensively with clients, including children and adults, some with complex needs, and clients from multicultural, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
- Performing minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting.
- Assisting Clinicians with the provision of clinical services by proactively identifying client needs, offering professional advice, and demonstrating the use of hearing aids.
What You Will Bring:

- Intermediate/advanced level computer literacy and some exposure or working knowledge of mobile technology (Apple and/or Android applications).
