Superlink, a family-owned and operated business with over 30 years of experience in the Retail Food Broker industry, is seeking a Merchandiser for the Brisbane area. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours and a positive start to a career in FMCG sales.

About the Role: This position offers flexibility, with an initial commitment of 2 days per week for 6 hours per day, with the potential for additional days. You will be working with a diverse range of interesting products, ensuring the role remains engaging. It is well-suited for those seeking casual work, flexible hours, or re-entering the workforce, presenting a valuable opportunity to launch a professional merchandising career.

Responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with independent retail groups, selling new product lines, and maintaining the existing product range.
• Cultivating and nurturing in-store relationships with independent grocers.
• Prioritising and efficiently completing assigned tasks.
• Managing merchandising duties, including planogram execution and display setup/maintenance.
• Conducting field reporting and monitoring promotional activities, including competitor analysis.
• Communicating effectively within a field team and with store personnel.
• Understanding and supporting company objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proficiency in using an electronic device.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Access to email and a printer.
• Your own reliable transport and a current, valid Australian Driver’s Licence.

Experience is preferred but not essential. Access to a car and a valid driver’s licence are mandatory.
